Waterproof or ventilated: choose carefully

This is the most important choice and there is no single model that does both well. A waterproof glove also traps your sweat in the summer; a ventilated glove will be soaked through at the first shower. If you ride all year round, two pairs are cheaper than one pair that constantly disappoints you.

A long cuff closes over your jacket sleeve and keeps rain and wind out. A short glove is worn under your sleeve and is more comfortable in warm weather and when dismounting.
