Electronics on a bike have to survive vibration, water and temperature swings. Check the IP rating: IP67 means dust tight and protected against temporary immersion. A quickshifter uses a sensor on the shift rod and usually needs a model and year specific harness. Mesh intercoms reconnect on their own when a rider drops out, Bluetooth pairings have to be restored by hand. On batteries, check polarity, dimensions and cold cranking amps.
