Leather Motorcycle Gloves

For many riders, leather remains the standard, and for good reason. It molds to the shape of your hand, lasts for years, and holds up significantly longer than textile in a slide. On the flip side, leather gets wet and dries slowly, unless it has a membrane.

Sporty: Furygan Styg and Volt

The Styg 15 and Styg20 are the sporty models with knuckle protection, with the Styg20 X being reinforced with Kevlar and featuring a palm slider in case your hand slides across the asphalt. The Volt and Volt Evo are in the same segment for sporty summer riding. The James Evo 2 features D3O protection in a slightly more neutral design.

The Orsa Leather MK3 uses a BOA closure: a dial that tightens the glove evenly instead of a single velcro strap. You can tighten or loosen it with gloves on, even while riding. There is a regular and a summer version.

Leather stretches slightly during the first rides, so a new glove can fit snugly. What is not allowed: your fingertips touching the ends of the fingers.
