Off-road riding is all about feel. A thin glove allows you to feather the clutch and feel the handlebars, which is more important in motocross and enduro than a thick knuckle guard. The protection you sacrifice is gained back in control.

The Moto 1.5 GripR is the thinnest version with a silicone print on the fingers for grip, available in white and orange. The Moto 2.5 X-Flow is highly ventilated for warm days, available in black and in junior sizes for young riders.

Alpinestars with Drystar

The Andes v3, Belize v3, and Bogota Drystar XF. These are closer to adventure than pure motocross: more material, a waterproof membrane, making them suitable for long enduro rides that also include road sections.

Choose based on your riding style

Track riding in summer: as thin and airy as possible, so GripR or X-Flow. Your hands sweat, you ride short sessions, and you need maximum feel.Enduro and long days: a Drystar model is then more sensible. Soaked hands in autumn will cost you more control than a slightly thicker glove.

The X-Flow is available in junior sizes. Do not buy a small adult size for children: the finger length will be incorrect and the glove will fold against the levers, causing blisters.

Motocross gloves should fit snugly like a second skin, without space at the fingertips. In doubt? Use our size guide. All gloves at WheelsWork come from official European distributors.
