This AXP skid plate made of HDPE plastic has been specially developed for the Husqvarna FE450/FE501 model years 2017-2023. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs the impact instead of transferring it to the frame. The material does not deform permanently, makes no noise, and slides smoothly over rocks and logs. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use AXP plastic plates.
