This AXP skid plate made of HDPE plastic has been specially developed for the KTM 450 from 2023, the GasGas 450/500 from 2023, and the Husqvarna 450/501 from 2023. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs the impact instead of transferring it to the frame. The material does not permanently deform, makes no noise, and glides smoothly over rocks and logs. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use AXP plastic plates.
