This AXP skid plate was specifically developed for the TOURING HDPE 8mm Black KTM790/890 Adventure/R/Rally from 2019 onwards. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs impact instead of transferring it to the frame. The material does not permanently deform, makes no noise, and glides smoothly over rocks and logs. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use AXP plastic plates.
