HGS has been building exhausts for motocross tracks and off-road riding since 1988. The brand was founded by Henri Gorthuis, who worked as a mechanic in Grand Prix racing in the 1980s, and is now in its third generation of ownership. The exhausts are made in the Netherlands and are used by race teams worldwide.

A complete system: the header pipe and muffler are tuned to each other, so that the gains are not in just one place in the rev range, but across the entire powerband.
