HGS has been building exhausts for motocross tracks and off-road use since 1988. The brand was founded by Henri Gorthuis, who worked as a mechanic in Grand Prix in the 1980s, and is now in its third generation. The exhausts are made in the Netherlands and are used worldwide by racing teams.

A complete system: the header pipe and silencer are matched to each other, so that the gains are not concentrated in one part of the rev range but are spread across the entire band.
