HGS has been building exhausts for motocross tracks and off-road riding since 1988. The brand was founded by Henri Gorthuis, who worked as a mechanic in Grand Prix racing in the 1980s, and is now in its third generation. The exhausts are made in the Netherlands and are used worldwide by racing teams.

A complete system: header pipe and muffler are tuned to each other, so that the power gain is not just in one part of the rev range but across the entire band.
