HGS has been building exhausts for the motocross track and forest since 1988. The brand was founded by Henri Gorthuis, who worked as a mechanic in Grand Prix racing in the 1980s, and is now run by the third generation. The exhausts are made in the Netherlands and are used worldwide by racing teams.

The silencer determines the back pressure and, therefore, how the engine delivers its power. The internal components can be serviced, so you replace the packing instead of the entire silencer.

A motocross exhaust is racing material and is not permitted on public roads. Have the installation done by someone who knows what they are doing, regularly check the gaskets and springs, and re-tighten bolts after the first ride.
