An HGS silencer for the Suzuki RM250 from 2001 to 2005.
HGS has been building exhausts for motocross tracks and forests since 1988. The brand was founded by Henri Gorthuis, who worked as a mechanic in Grand Prix racing in the 1980s, and is now in its third generation. The exhausts are made in the Netherlands and are used worldwide by racing teams.
The silencer determines the back pressure and thus how the engine delivers its power. The internals can be serviced, so you replace the packing instead of the entire silencer.
