Since 1988, HGS has been building exhausts for motocross tracks and off-road riding. The brand was founded by Henri Gorthuis, who worked as a mechanic in Grand Prix in the 1980s, and is now in its third generation. The exhausts are made in the Netherlands and are used worldwide by racing teams.
For a two-stroke engine, the pipe determines the character of the engine. HGS customizes the shape and volume to match the engine block, focusing on manageable pulling power rather than an uncontrollable power peak.
