Bluetooth or Mesh: this is the main choice

Bluetooth pairs devices one-on-one in a chain. Fine for two people, but with a larger group, the connection is lost as soon as someone falls too far behind, and then the entire chain has to be rebuilt.Mesh works like a network where each helmet passes on to the others. If someone drops out, the connection automatically restores, and the others remain connected. For group rides, Mesh is practically the difference between working and not working.

60S combines Mesh and Bluetooth, available as a single and duopack, with a choice of a boom microphone or a universal microphone in the clamp kit.SPIDER ST1 and RT1 are the more accessibly priced Mesh models, with the RT1 featuring controls on the handlebars and the ST1 on the unit itself.5S and SMH10 are Bluetooth systems, suitable for riding in pairs.SF1 is the simple entry-level headset.If you already have Bluetooth units and want to switch to Mesh, the +Mesh adapter converts your existing set.

Pay attention to helmet fit

An intercom must fit in your helmet. Check if your helmet has cutouts for the speakers, otherwise, they will press against your ears during long rides.
