Slip-on or full system
A slip-on replaces the silencer only and fits the original headers. It saves weight and changes the note, but adds little power. A full system replaces headers and catalyst as well, which makes real power gains possible, though often only permitted on track. For road use the EU type approval on the silencer is what counts. Titanium is lightest, stainless is toughest, carbon sits between them on weight and price.
- Type approval on the silencer for road use
- dB killer fixed or removable
- Does the silencer fit the original headers
