This 8mm HDPE plastic AXP skid plate has been specially developed for the BMW F900GS from 2024 onwards. This version is specifically for BMW/SW-Motech crash bars. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs impact rather than transferring it to the frame. The material does not deform permanently, makes no noise, and glides smoothly over rocks and tree trunks. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use AXP plastic plates.
