This 8mm HDPE plastic AXP skid plate is specially designed for the BMW F900GS. This version is specifically for Outback Motortek crash bars. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs impact rather than transferring it to the frame. The material does not deform permanently, makes no noise, and slides smoothly over rocks and logs. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use AXP plastic plates.
