This 8mm HDPE plastic AXP skid plate is specially developed for the BMW F900GS from 2024 onwards. This version is specifically without crash bars. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs impact instead of transferring it to the frame. The material does not permanently deform, makes no noise, and glides smoothly over rocks and logs. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use AXP plastic plates.
