This 8mm HDPE plastic AXP skid plate is specially designed for the Husqvarna 701, model years 2014-2025, and the KTM 690, model years 2009-2025. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs impact rather than transferring it to the frame. The material does not deform permanently, makes no noise, and glides smoothly over rocks and logs. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use AXP plastic plates.
