This AXP skid plate made of 8mm HDPE plastic is specially developed for the KTM 690 from 2026 and the Husqvarna 701 from 2026. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs impact instead of transferring it to the frame. The material does not deform permanently, makes no noise, and glides smoothly over rocks and logs. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use plastic plates from AXP.
