The Gerbing Dual Digital Temperature Controller 12V has two independently controlled channels, each with five settings. This allows you to set your heated jacket to a lower setting than your heated pants, for example.

There is a third unregulated output for gloves with their own push-button or for an extra pair of socks. The controller connects directly to the battery harness.

If you're riding with a jacket and pants, or with pants and socks, you don't want them on the same setting. With two channels, you can adjust them separately.
