Putoline NF dissipates heat and protects the cooling system from within. Volume 15 litres.

What coolant does

Coolant dissipates heat, lowers the freezing point, and raises the boiling point. Additionally, it protects aluminium parts and the water pump against corrosion. The latter is why you shouldn't use tap water, not even in summer.

What to watch out for

• Do not mix different types of coolant. If in doubt, flush the system and refill it completely.
• If you need to dilute, use demineralized water. Tap water leaves behind limescale.
• Bleed the system after filling. Air in the cooling jacket causes localised overheating while the gauge shows nothing unusual.
