For which filter

This oil is intended for foam filters, such as those found on motocross and enduro motorcycles. Paper filters should not be oiled: they will become clogged.

An oiled foam filter traps sand and dust that a dry filter would let through. In off-road, this is the difference between an engine that lasts a long time and an engine that wears out.

Oiling your filter

• First wash the filter with filter cleaner and let it dry completely.
• Distribute the oil through the foam until it is evenly colored, without puddles.
• Squeeze out the excess. A dripping filter restricts airflow.
• Lubricate the edge of the filter with grease to prevent dust from getting past the seal.
