Washing your motorcycle without damage

• Rinse a cold engine, not one that has just been ridden. Cold water on a hot exhaust can cause stains.
• Let the cleaner soak in and then rinse. Wiping dry immediately will cause dirt to spread over the paintwork.
• Keep high pressure away from bearings, seals and electrical connectors.
• After washing, ride briefly so that the brakes dry before putting it away.
