Putoline GP 10 determines how your front fork damps. Contents 15 liters.
With 75W, you are in the heavy part of the range. The damping becomes stiffer and provides more support.

What fork oil does
Your front fork springs on the springs, but the damping comes from the oil that is forced through small passages. The thickness of that oil determines how quickly the fork compresses and rebounds. Fresh oil provides noticeably calmer road behavior than oil that has been in for years.
Thicker or thinner
- A lighter oil allows the fork to move faster and feels more comfortable.
- A heavier oil slows down the movement and provides more support during hard braking or with a heavily loaded motorcycle.
- Fill both fork legs with exactly the same oil and the same amount. You will immediately feel a difference between left and right in the steering behavior.
Filling and checking level
The oil level in a fork is measured from the top of the fork tube, with the spring removed and the fork fully compressed. This measurement is in your workshop manual and is more accurate than measuring by volume. A few millimeters difference in level noticeably changes the damping at the end of the stroke.
