This AXP skid plate made of 8mm HDPE plastic is specially designed for the KTM 390 ADVENTURE R/X and the ENDURO R. Unlike an aluminum plate, HDPE plastic absorbs the impact instead of transferring it to the frame. The material does not permanently deform, makes no noise, and glides smoothly over rocks and logs. This is precisely why top enduro and rally riders use AXP plastic plates.
