Putoline Castor R is added to the petrol or via the oil pump, depending on your engine. Content 15 litres.

Mixing or dosing

A two-stroke engine receives its lubrication via the fuel. For older engines and most dirt bikes, you mix the oil with the petrol yourself. Engines with an oil pump dose automatically and have a separate oil tank.

The correct mixing ratio differs per engine and sometimes per use. This is stated in your instruction manual. Never mix by feel: too little oil will cost you an engine, too much causes soot and a fouled exhaust.

What to look out for

• Mix in a clean jerrycan, not in the tank, and shake well.
• Do not mix more than you will use within a few weeks. Petrol with oil in it ages.
• If you drive with E10, please note that this fuel ages faster.
