Washing your motorcycle without damage

• Spray down a cold engine, not one that has just been ridden. Cold water on a hot exhaust can cause stains.
• Let the cleaner work and then rinse. Wiping dry immediately will cause dirt to slide across the paint.
• Keep high pressure away from bearings, seals, and electrical connectors.
• After washing, ride a short distance so that the brakes dry before putting it away.
