Washing your motorcycle without damage
- Rinse a cold engine, not one that has just been ridden. Cold water on a hot exhaust can cause stains.
- Allow the cleaner to soak in and then rinse off. Wiping dry immediately will cause dirt to slide over the paintwork.
- Keep high pressure away from bearings, oil seals, and electrical connectors.
- After washing, ride for a short while so the brakes dry before putting it away.
