Washing your motorcycle without damage
- Rinse a cold engine, not one that has just been ridden. Cold water on a hot exhaust can cause stains.
- Let the cleaner work, then rinse. Wiping dry immediately will cause dirt to scratch the paintwork.
- Keep high-pressure away from bearings, seals, and electrical connectors.
- After washing, ride briefly so that the brakes dry before putting it away.
