Where to use grease

Grease stays where oil runs off. On a motorcycle, you use it on wheel bearings, steering head bearings, pivot points of the swingarm, axle bodies, and threaded rods that you want to be able to loosen later.

What to pay attention to

• Clean the surface first. Applying grease over sand acts as a grinding paste.
• Use grease sparingly on nearby brake parts. Grease on a brake disc is not easily removed.
• When installing a rear axle, a thin layer on the axle is enough to loosen it later.
